Billing questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes — every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You add a card when you sign up (via Stripe Checkout), but you are not charged until day 14. Cancel any time before then and you pay nothing.
When am I charged?
Not until your 14-day trial ends. If you cancel during the trial there is no charge at all. After that you are billed on your chosen interval (monthly or annual).
Can I change or cancel my plan later?
Yes, any time from your billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately — you get the higher limits straight away and only pay the prorated difference, so you are never locked out until the next cycle. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current period (you keep what you have paid for until then) and are never charged retroactively.
Is pricing in Australian dollars?
Yes — all plans are priced and billed in AUD via Stripe. BuilderView is built specifically for Australian residential builders, with Australian date and currency formatting throughout.
Does BuilderView handle GST on the invoices I send?
Yes. When your business is registered for GST, invoices are generated as tax invoices — GST is calculated at your region’s rate, shown as a separate tax line, and your ABN is printed on the invoice. You can issue amounts tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive.
Does BuilderView connect to Xero or MYOB?
Yes — both, two-way, and there is no separate integration fee: accounting sync comes with the Invoicing & Expenses feature on any plan that includes it. Invoices, bills and expenses you record in BuilderView flow into Xero or MYOB, payments recorded there flow back automatically, and bills your bookkeeper enters directly land in a review inbox to be placed on the right job. You connect one accounting platform per business.
Do you offer annual billing?
Where a plan offers it, switching to annual billing on the table above shows the discounted monthly-equivalent price and the total billed per year.
